I work as a freelance science and technology editor and writer in Tasmania, Australia, with local and international clients.
I started my professional life in academia, completing a PhD in ecology and then a postdoctoral fellowship. My ten years in science spanned ecology, agricultural science, entomology and fisheries.
I always like the writing part of science best. This led me to complete a Graduate Certificate in Communication, and I began freelance editing in 2010.
I am an IPEd Accredited Editor and a Professional Member of IPEd (Australia’s Institute of Professional Editors).
